About me
Ajay oversees Corporate Strategy at Wipro. He brings over 30 years of rich & diverse experiences in roles ranging from Corporate Strategy, M&A, incubating new businesses, joint ventures, Innovation, Sales & Business development & Supply chain.
In his current role, he is responsible for driving the Global Strategy charter for the IT business of Wipro spanning Market view, Growth Strategy development, Strategy planning, investment evaluation & execution & engaging with the Board & leadership teams on the Strategy roadmap and execution. He & his team are responsible for driving Strategy evangelization, investment allocation & identifying long term Strategic bets for Wipro.
In addition, a key part of the role includes providing leadership, advisory & execution oversight in areas such as entry into new markets, impact and implications of disruptive technologies, market discontinuities and capability areas of Strategic significance. As part of the overall agenda, he engages extensively with industry ecosystems comprising of expert networks, analysts, advisors represent Wipro in global platforms such as WEF, NASSCOM and others.
Prior to Wipro, Ajay worked with Unilever India in various roles ranging from Manufacturing operations, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. By background, Ajay is an Engineer in Controls & Instrumentation and a MBA from the founding batch at the Indian school of Business (ISB)
