About me
Pradeep is Managing Director of HSBC Technology India. As the head of the technology GCC in India, which is one of the largest GCCs in the country, Pradeep's priorities are to drive robust and agile software delivery from the India Centers to achieve better customer outcomes across HSBC's businesses globally.
Pradeep joined HSBC in 2019 as the CIO of the Group Data Technology & Analytics function and led the data engineering function globally for the Bank that touched all its businesses and operations across countries and territories. A role he relinquished when he took over as CEO of the HSDI legal entity currently. Prior to HSBC, he worked as the Chief Data Officer at GE Digital's Data hubs globally, where he led Data Analytics as a function, and led Digital Transformation and Innovation initiatives across all of GE's global data hubs. He has also previously held data leadership positions at Maersk, Dell and Oracle Consulting.
Pradeep is an active member of many industry bodies across India and Asia and holds council positions with NASSCOM and CII. He is actively engaged in positioning and growing Global Capability Centres, through redefining delivery models and driving innovation. He holds an MBA in Information Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) and an Engineering Degree from VJTI, University of Mumbai.
