Sujit John is the Deputy Resident Editor of The Times of India, Bangalore, and the Editor of Times Techies, a dedicated platform for technology insights and stories. He has been with The Times of India for nearly 30 years, including nearly 25 years in Bangalore.
In 2019, Sujit conceptualized and launched Times Techies as a weekly technology page in two editions of The Times of India. Under his stewardship, it has grown into a biweekly national feature, becoming a go-to resource for tech enthusiasts, professionals, and thought leaders.
Sujit holds an MPhil and an MA in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and a BA in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. His deep understanding of economics, coupled with his journalistic expertise, enables him to deliver insightful coverage at the intersection of technology, business, and society.
