Veena Venugopal is the Financial Times' India Newsletter Editor, Based in New Delhi, Venugopal writes the FT's India Business Briefing, a newsletter offering twice-weekly insight on the country's most important business stories.
Venugopal has over two decades of experience as a journalist and editor. She started her career looking after European mergers and acquisitions for an IT major, before shifting gears and moving into journalism. She has covered various beats - markets, business, and general -across several publications, most notably The Hindu Group, Mint, and Outlook. Before joining the FT in November 2024, she spent five years at Apple, as senior editor for Apple Services.
