About me
As the Executive Director at Laxmi Organic Industries, Harsh Goenka has been instrumental in transforming the company from a bulk chemical manufacturer into a leader in specialty chemicals, serving the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
In 2011, he spearheaded the establishment of the specialty chemicals division through a strategic acquisition. He successfully turned the asset around by expanding the product portfolio and tripling production capacity. Further strengthening Laxmi’s global footprint, he led the acquisition of a specialty chemical company in Italy, enabling the company to serve high-growth sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, and data centers.
Beyond Laxmi, Harsh is the Founder of Yellowstone Clean Energy, a Maharashtra-based renewable energy company that owns and operates wind energy assets, supplying clean power to industrial clients. He is an active member of industry groups such as Assocham and FICCI and holds an executive position in the Indian Chemical Council, where he advocates for industry growth and innovation.
Harsh completed his early education in Mumbai and earned a degree in Economics and Business Management from Babson College, USA. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is passionate about aviation and holds a pilot certification. A technology enthusiast, he is deeply committed to leveraging digitalization, AI, and sustainable innovation to drive India’s industrial transformation.
He lives in Mumbai with his wife and three-year-old son.
