About me
Taroon Mandhana is the Senior VP - Head of Engineering - Products & AI at Atlassian, a leading provider of productivity and collaboration software. With nearly 25 years of experience, Taroon oversees the engineering team across the company’s entire product portfolio, including a central AI team. Outside of Atlassian, Taroon holds nearly 15 years of AI experience. In his previous roles, Taroon led the Search team at Microsoft Bing and later joined Facebook to lead their Search and Marketplace teams. In his second stint at Microsoft, he led the company's content teams and built a personalized recommendation feed, Microsoft Start.
Currently based out of Seattle, Taroon graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and received his Master’s from the University of Austin, Texas. In his free time, he enjoys going on hikes around the Pacific Northwest with his family.
